Abstract
The threats of the polytheists took on a new form with the migration of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to Medina. Determining a military strategy against the threats of the polytheists and Jews was one of the areas of the Prophet's (PBUH) management, which was manifested in the Battle of the Trench, the last enemy attack on the forces of Islam and the culmination of the Muslims' defensive measures. The following article aims to analyze the factors affecting the strategy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the form of the SWAT method and with a case study in verses 9-27 of Surah Al-Ahzab. The tool used is a researcher-made list of factors affecting management. Using the analysis of the verses, a table was presented regarding the factors affecting the management of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in two categories of external and internal factors, as well as an analysis of strategic factors. The findings showed that the lack of equipment, the conspiracy of hypocrites and sick-hearted people within Medina, the lack of time, and the betrayal of the Banu Qurayzah Jews were the main obstacles and factors in the strategy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Therefore, to plan and reduce weaknesses, they used strategies such as optimal use of time, compensating for the lack of equipment through proper management of manpower, weakening the enemy's morale by killing the bravest commander of the army, disrupting the enemy's alliance, and dealing with the Bani Qurayzah's covenant breakers.
