Abstract
This research is going to study some verses of the Holy Quran in two Persian translations by Abu al-Fatuh Razi and Elahi Ghomshei. Definition of "translation", basis of the permission or the lack of permission to translate the Qur'an and the short history of Persian translations of the Quran, in particular the introduction of the Persian translations of Abu al-Fatuh Razi and the Elahi Ghomshei have been discussed. Comparative study of translation of some verses in the two translations and the main differences of them are included. Two translations of a verse, if different, have been mentioned and explained, then referring to reliable interpretations and dictionaries as well as Quranic researches and papers, the appropriate translation has been introduced. If both of them are incorrect an appropriate translation is provided.
