In general, research works on Quranic sciences, in the fourth century, did not have a significant impact in terms of structure, content and completion of comprehensive discussions. Jami al-bayan, Tabari’s book, has had a favorable effect on the occasion of revelation, but Ajayeb Uloom al –Quran, in terms of comprehensiveness is in the middle level. Ibn Mujahid's monograph on the science of recitation has been more influential than Ajayeb al-Quran and other works.
