Comprehensiveness is one of the main causes of immortality and universality of the Holy Quran which has a profound effect on the understanding and conformity conforming of verses to the issues of different ages, including the contemporary period. Even though the comprehensiveness has been mentioned in many verses, they are incorrectly cited by some contemporary Sunni interpretations including Quraniyoon. This group believes that Quran describes all religious needs and there is no need to follow a tradition. They have stated several reasons to prove the claim for instance: monopoly of the divine revelation to the Holy Quran, monopoly of protecting the Qur'an to God, monopoly of the sanctity of words and meanings of the Quran, the negation of ambiguity in religious teachings due to the validity of the Qur'anic consideration and the non-perceived tradition of the Prophet (pbuh). This paper, by descriptive-analytical method, attempts to discover that Quraniyoon's proofs for their claim do not imply clear. On the contrary, we would realize, by referring to some verses that some part of what God asks man in the form of religion is obtained by referring to the Prophet's (pbuh) tradition.
